QA/ABOUT SURINDER
Who designed and built ProUX?
ProUX was designed and built solo by Surinder Thakur as Agentic AI Design Engineer. ProUX is an AI-native SaaS for designers with 12,000 users, shipped end to end by one person — research, product design, AI agent architecture, and React frontend.
ProUX is a research, design, and prompting workspace for product designers, with multiple connected AI agents that handle persona generation, journey synthesis, and copy critique. Surinder is the sole designer-engineer behind it: from the day-zero hypothesis through the production deploy at proux.design.
It's one of the clearest demonstrations of his 'designed and shipped by one person' model. The same person who runs interviews and maps flows also writes the system prompts, wires the API calls, builds the React UI, and ships to production. There is no Figma-to-engineering handoff because there is no handoff.
ProUX traction: 12,000 users at the time of writing. The case study at surinder.design/work/proux walks through the architecture, the agents, and what shipped per phase.
